ABOUT GODFREY

A life built around reaching people.

Actor. Singer. Speaker. Mentor. Program builder. Different stages, classrooms and communities — one purpose: helping people see what is possible and choose what comes next.

Godfrey Moye

FOUNDER · SPEAKER · ACTOR · YOUTH DEVELOPER

Nearly two decades of experience reaching young people.

Since 2007, Godfrey Moye has reached young people across public and private schools, colleges, juvenile facilities, group homes, and counseling and community organizations — speaking to students from Los Angeles to New York City about choices, identity, direction, and what is possible for their lives.

His background extends far beyond youth development. As a professional actor, Godfrey has appeared in more than 30 commercials, bringing years of experience in storytelling, performance, and connecting with an audience. As a singer and performer, his work has taken him overseas. As a speaker, mentor, and program builder, he has spent years learning how to reach people from dramatically different backgrounds.

The work has evolved from Power of Choice → #liveONpurpose → Life On Purpose. As the name and methodology developed, the core mission remained consistent: choice, purpose, identity, and helping young people see possibilities beyond their present circumstances.

Life On Purpose is not simply a program Godfrey created. It is the intersection of what he has spent his life doing: communicating, performing, mentoring, listening, and helping people recognize that where they are today does not have to determine where they go next.

Through Moye Speaks and Life On Purpose, Godfrey brings that experience into schools and organizations to help young people discover who they are, see what’s possible, and choose what’s next.

Godfrey holds a B.A. in Youth Ministry Leadership from Eastern University. In 2013 he founded B4Men, a middle-school boys mentorship program, and later founded and launched GZ Life at the Living Redemption Youth Opportunity Hub in Harlem.
